30th Season
One of the highlights of any Bellingham summer is the annual Bellingham Festival of Music, the Pacific Northwest’s premier summer orchestrafestival. This year, our 30th season, will be particularly compelling because, for the first time, every program will be directed by a guest conductor making his festival debut. And we hope that one of these will emerge as our new
Artistic Director.
Listeners will find this a Season of Discovery, with new personalities on the podium, new guest artists, and fresh repertoire, both time honored and emerging.
Please join us for five orchestra concerts, the popular Chamber Music by the Bay, and the Calidore String Quartet in concert, July 1—18, 2023. All concerts, except Chamber Music by the Bay, take place at Western Washington University’s Performing Arts Center. Join us before the concerts and at intermission in our NEW wine and beer garden on the PAC Plaza with its stunning view of Bellingham Bay.
