February 2025
From Todd Wyder
Hi everyone,
Hope you're enjoying this beautiful winter weather! Even with the sunshine, there are hints of spring – flowers blooming and nature awakening. Just like the season, our club is getting a refresh too!
New Logo and Branding:
- We've updated our logo to one that reproduces better in print, so you'll see a consistent look across all our materials. You can see the new logo here.
- We've also chosen a more vibrant and contrasting color scheme to enhance our visual identity.
- Check out the volunteer section of this newsletter for a peek at our updated marketing materials that reflect the new branding. The website will be updated in mid-February as well.
Building Our Community:
- We're excited to announce a new forum coming soon! This online space will be like a private Facebook group for members to connect and share. You can ask for recommendations, share event invites, or discuss gardening tips – anything to build a stronger community!
Member Input Needed:
- Remember the interest survey from last summer? We're planning a meeting in February's "Birds of a Feather" to discuss single and multi-day excursions, the second most popular item. Your input is valuable, so please sign up to attend!
More Transparency and Engagement:
- We've added a "Club Business" section to the newsletter to keep you informed about club affairs and finances. Is there other information you'd like to see there? Let us know!
Volunteer Opportunities:
- We have a variety of volunteer needs this month, some requiring just a few minutes of your time. Lend a hand and make a difference – check out the list in this newsletter!
Event Attendance and Feedback:
- We're always looking for ways to improve the club and events. Share your ideas at todddwyder@gmail.com.
I look forward to seeing you at upcoming events!
Best,
Todd
